Extremely reliable and was essential on our trip. Handled all google maps navigation and was easy for pickup and dropoff (you can mail it at the airport). Never got close to using the daily GB limit. Only thing that could be improved is a more powerful powerbank - was not enough for a complete charge. We had our own powerbank so no issue

Worked perfectly. There were times where we’d have to restart the wifi due to connection issues, but it was just twice in a 10-day period. Best part was the power bank provided because we used it for our phones too.

My brother recommended this portable WiFi device, rented one for myself and also another for my partner as well it worked so good! Only issues were the battery life seemed to drain faster than I expected and the unit heats up quite a bit during active charging with the power bank that my candy in my bag started to melt, but otherwise a great find.

Online reservation of the device was quick and easy, price more than ok, excellent value for money. Everything was ready for pick up when we arrived at Narita, the device worked immediately and the WiFi signal was good. Here and there, depending on where you are (tunnel, countryside), the signal might be slower and even drop off, but it’s still quite a rare occurrence. We connected up to 3 devices with no slowing down. Ideally, choose the option with unlimited speed and data. Overall, I would highly recommend this service when in Japan.
