The device worked absolutely perfect. For the GPS usage you definitely need to expect that u r going to use the external battery. As long as both of them are charged the day will run smooth. Having unlimited internet at any moment of the day made my trip an unforgettable experience. Thank you for you service Japan wireless!

We had a problem with connecting the night we arrived so I emailed the support team. Not only did I get instant service but it was fixed pretty quickly. The connection has been good, great service, would definitely use it again when I’m back in Japan.

Would be helpful if there was a small troubleshooting guide. My Wifi device didn’t not work and I had to ask the hotel staff to call Japan wireless. Appears that it was static. Other than that it was a great experience. Can definitely recommend

High Speed Pocket Wifi worked excellently without any problems. Excellent battery life that lasted most of the day so we didn't even get to use the battery pack that came with the unit.

It worked amazing! We did have a day where it wasn't transmitting wifi, but once we followed the troubleshooting guide (which was included) it worked perfectly.

Easy and convenient

My wife and I traveled around Japan for 10 days and this device made it so much easier. We with we had this a few years ago when we traveled around Europe. Everywhere we went we had Wifi so we could always find our next route or look up food. The fact that they send a portable battery with it is even better. We used it more to charge our phones, but still it was incredibly handy to have. Highly recommended. The service was also very good. They helped us make sure everything was set up and ready when we arrived in Japan.

I go to Japan every year sometimes twice a year and I always get a pocket WiFi to help with travel needs. My phone carrier has expensive international plans so getting a WiFi thru Japan wireless eases the pocket book while not compromising on speed. It’s ready at the airport or at my hotel, turn it on and good to go with my phone on airplane mode with WiFi on. I have WiFi calling setup on my iPhone so I stay connected to my daughter while I’m away. 9day trip no data cap, google maps, Facebook, Instagram, and words with friends and never a slow down even in the mountains in Hakone. Best must needed tool to have while you explore Japan.

Very good service. When we arrived at the airport, we went to the post office and we had the envelope with the wifi pocket, battery, adapter, cable and envelope to return to the exit. Coverage everywhere, obviously except tunnels, but in the subway. It went very well for the maps, being able to send messages and upload photos. Completely recommendable for travelers, you can connect up to 10 devices and consult at the same time several services.
