Saved my life while traveling !
Being able to have WiFi wherever I go so I can use Maps and look up places to go as well, was extremely convenient.

Unfortunately, our service went out unexpectedly due to “Server issues” and our WiFi would not work for a couple days.
Luckily, we contacted customer service and they sent a new device to our hotel by the next morning.

Other than that hiccup, everything was great! Easy to use, and I can’t tell you enough of how clutch having this was.

This is the best WiFi gadget I have ever rented. You can access WiFi anywhere you go in Japan where WiFi is not available. You can even use it as your gps, it is also helpful when you are searching for places and eateries in the area . I truly recommend this WiFi when traveling to Japan.

excellent service

Everything about dealing with this company was easy- we hired their wi-fi device for a month- for a very good price. It arrived very quickly via Japan Post and picked it up from the local Post Office. Worked well, has all the goodies you need. And easy to return when finished- just popped it into a mail box. Highly recommended.

It helped us use Google Maps to get around, and keep in touch with the people we were visiting. The only thing is some times a phone would randomly disconnect, but it was a very easy fix. Battery lasted half the day, and then we would just use the charger that came with it for the 2nd half of the day! Just don't forget to charge it!

Worked well during our vacation

Reasonably prices, worked well in all locations we visited including Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka, and Hakone. Battery lasted about 10 hours. Comes with a back up battery, but the one we had was useless because it was dead and wouldn’t charge up. Luckily we had our own back up battery which we used to charge it up when it died. Good idea to have your own back up battery pack for wifi and cell phones just in case. Pick up from hotel front desk was easy and
returning it by dropping in a mailbox was also easy. Would use Japan Wireless again!
