I'm happy with my purchase of a wireless router for my three week stay in Japan. I think we wouldn't have managed without this very important pickup.

A few thinks could have been better though:

1. Our unit had a really low battery of only around 7-8 hours of usage. The battery pack that came with our purchase had a very bad portable battery, which either didn't charge properly or just didn't provide much charge.
2. The cable that came to charge the unit and the separate battery was embracingly short.
3. The provided charger did not, in fact, charge - good thing we had some other chargers with us in order to actually charge the wireless service

Despite these shortcomings, the Wi-Fi was crisp and good for most of our journey. We could use it almost everywhere, and whenever we had a problem, it was most commonly because there wasn't coverage, not because of an issue with the device itself. Posting the device back was also a breeze.

Overall, I would highly recommend this service to other users, because it's probably your most cheap and reliable option if you are having a tour of the major cities and countryside. I would also use it on a return trip to Japan (believe me, it's going to happen!)

I would like to thank the Japan Wireless team for the kindness when I picked up the device (I was bit confused, sleepy and very culture-shocked at Narita!) and for the quality of the internet provided!

I live in the US. We traveled Japan for 17 days. This company makes renting a portable Wi-Fi very easy and user-friendly. You are given everything that you need: instructions, return envelope, access to the pocket, Wi-Fi, etc. We had four devices set up on the pocket Wi-Fi, but it can hold up to 10 devices. we had no problems with service or signal interruption. This was very easy and I highly recommend this company you pick it up from the airport and you can return it in the red mailbox at the airport. We got ours in Haneda terminal three.

It was my first time to rent a portable WiFi with Japan Wireless (Ninja WiFi), so it took a while to locate their shop stand at the airport. Other than that, the WiFi was "plug and play" easy and no stress at the hotel I stayed. I put in my bag and left it on so I could get the emails and stuff from Overseas.

The pocket wifi was easy to use

I had to extend my service quickly because I had to stay longer as my father got worse, and this person helped me.

The item came in handy on my trip to japan. Besides the wifi cutting off a few times, this was a great rental.

I was very satisfied with the use of the Pocket Wi-fi. The instructions were clear and the signal was great. During my visit, about 98% of the time it was working. 2% of the time it was very slow in its response. The battery also lasts for the whole day. Charging the pocket wi-fi was fine as long as it is completed overnight. The power bank was also fine as long as it is charged overnight, but sometimes I forget.
