I rented this so my wife and I wouldn't have to worry about finding our way on our wonderous vacation across Japan. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and Okinawa and never not able to use Google Maps to find our way or look up the history of the many shrines, temples and castles we visited. The company provided the unit on time and it was so easy to use. Highly recommend and will rent again on my next trip.

Had good connections Osaka, Tokyo, Himeji, Matsuyama. Only drop was going over the Shimanami bridges. I kept it on and used it as my sole wi fi connection.

Rented a WiFi device for a 2 week long trip in April 2025. The pick up and connectivity were excellent. Had one issue where the device got locked up while on Shinkansen between Osaka and Hiroshima. Once I arrived at the Hiroshima station, I connected my phone to the JR station’s WiFi and sent an email to ask for the device to get fixed. It was fixed in a very short time, I was actually amazed how quickly they got it up and running. I was very happy with the quality of the WiFi for my 2 week stay in Japan and with the quick response when you have an issue. I highly recommend this device and their service.
