Portable and super easy to use. It lasts the whole day and is super fast and reliable. Size is convenient so you can just store it in a bag and get connection anywhere you are. I would recommend to anyone who is still a little worried/scared of using the e-sim. Since you can also connect multiple devices.

This is my 2nd time renting this lightweight MiFi while in Japan. It’s a no brained - rent this little puck and you’ll be connected with no glitch. (I used to rent from elsewhere but they didn’t have the latest/greatest technology, just the old stuff.) Japan-wireless.com MiFi are current and east to rent. You request online, give them an address (mine was hotel), it’s there when you arrive. You use it during your stay, put it back “on” in the envelope already provided at the airport mailbox so you can still be connected for the extra 5 minutes before you go through security. 😂. MAKE SURE to drop it in the red mail box before going through security because there’s nowhere to drop it off on the other side. Enjoy!

Excellent petit appareil, qui m'a permis d'utiliser mon smartphone de façon optimum même dans les coins les plus reculés. La batterie tient longtemps et celle de secours est un plus. De même que le chargeur.
On le retire et le rend à l'aeroport, c'est donc super pratique.

pick up and drop off was easy, the battery life lasted the whole day but even then it comes with a mobile battery that you can charge with if anything! definitely recommend especially with the price, the connection it really good too, was able to use it in Tokyo and all the way in Hokkaido!

It really helps during our travel in japan... the connection is very stable...

If you visit Japan, you need a pocket wireless as Internet is not available while sightseeing outdoors. You will need it for Maps, directions, bus & train schedules, making reservations, etc. The extra charger is very useful by the end of the day when the main wireless powers down.Easy to get and return back.
