It was easy to use and super convenient to have this device. For my entire stay in Japan, I never had to turn my phone on. I left it on airplane mode the entire time. This was a cheap way to use my "older" phone.

Great service and system

We used this for the second time. Sometimes we lost connection but the benefits far outweighed any negatives. The main device lasted us the whole day, only using the back up charger once or twice.

I often go to Japan for periods between 7 and 15 days. I have always used Japan Wireless to stay in touch with the network. The devices are perfect for conditions, ease of use, times and methods of collection and return. I always recommend my colleagues and friends to use Japan Wireless products.

Been using this service for 7 years now, everytime i visit Japan. The data/connection on this is more reliable than e-sim. My visit this January, 3 of my friends had e-sim and did not have good data when we drove up north outside of Tokyo. They wanted to connect to my wifi device. 😒 LOL!! 5 out of 5 stars for reliability, ease of use, and service!

Good service appreciate

Fantastic system, and even more fantastic connection as it is highly reliable especially in places where you think you'd never get a connection.

The only real downside is that the power supply we received had a faulty cable, so we had to buy a new one. Additionally, if you want to keep it out for longer than the intended time, maybe invest on a second power supply.

Other than that, it's a fantastic product, and will definitely recommend it to others.

This is my second time renting a premium Japan wireless wifi. Just like the first time, it worked perfectly. I was able to navigate my family smoothly which is the most important thing to me. However there were just a few things I would like to point out, first I wasn’t able to use their cable for charging since it was not a type-C, IDK what happened but I did not bother to email since our schedule is tight but good thing I always have with me my personal charging cables which I used for daily charging the wifi. Second, I should be careful when renting since I paid until the day of our departure so I think there was still a day available in using it before I should return. In my assumption, I thought I should put the date when returning it so that’s why. It definitely was on my part but I am hopeful next time there was a clear explanation on that when booking. Overall, the performance is definitely perfect and customer service is swift as always. There was only one problem we encountered in the first day which was the internet connection problem from the network itself, we were informed accordingly though so we understood.

Price aside (which is very competitive), the service provided by Japan Wireless is top notch. 99% of the time we had no issues with the Pocket WiFi device (had to hard reset once), and battery life is reasonable (circa 8hrs on a full charge), but it comes with a battery pack as backup. All in all, highly recommended and will definitely use again.

Pickup and return was easy. WiFi was super fast and I had reliable connection where ever I went. I would definitely use their service again.
