There's a lot to love about the mobile wifi, namely the price point and the generous amount of data per day. Speeds were also very fast, if not faster than back at home. There were a few instances of throttling but that was mainly due to interference. Portability was also good but the device did warm up a fair bit. The battery life was also more than generous given we were out on the street for hours at a time; it's why I kept a power bank on me while out and about. Overall, I was happy with this mobile wifi and I'll definitely choose Japan Wireless the next time I visit Japan

From order to pick up, transaction was seamless. Instructions were clear and with pictures so you will not waste time looking for the pick up booths and mailbox for returning the parcel. Connecting was easy and signal and speed was reliable. We were travelling from Tokyo to Kyoto to Osaka and Kobe, no problem with signal and coverage. Will definitely use this service again on my next trip to Japan.

The WiFi worked wonderfully for both my phone and my laptop. I was able to access my messages and stream video almost anywhere. The pick up and drop off were easy too. I would recommend getting a hotspot like this for any traveler.

We used the wifi unit for 2 weeks without any problems. The unit was easy to setup and the backup battery was very powerful. I charged the unit and the backup battery every night and connected the unit to the battery in the morning. I never ran out of power and even had extra power to charge one of the phones. We connected up to 5 devices at a time (3 iPhones and 2 iPads) that we used primarily for for text, images, and navigation. We did not stream video except for short clips nor did we play games. Pickup and drop off were simple and everything we needed was in the envelope.

Worked perfectly! Definitely will use it again when I go back to Japan
