I did not have my pone unlocked for an Esim, so I ordered a pocket wifi for my 3 1/2 weeks long Japan trip. I picked up the device with no issues at the airport and the device worked wonderfully. The wifi came with a travel pouch, return envelope, charger (cord & box), and a portable battery! We had two cellphones on it and the wifi was very consistent. It even got service in most subways and the shinkansen, I was happily surprised! I would highly recommend this to travelers headed to japan. The return is also super easy, they give you a return envelope and you just put it in a Japanese post box!

Pick-up at Osaka KIX airport from 9am... and worked perfectly during 10 days, both for business connection and later sightseeing in Kyoto/Osaka. Very convenient with multi-devices and even during transportation (subway/bus/train). Battery lasts 24h w/o issue. Highly recommended.
