Japane Wireless' pocket WiFi worked exactly as advertised, and made our travels much easier and more convenient. The provided battery works well, and it also uses other battery packs, so you can use ones that you've brought from home.

Excellent little wifi, worked everywhere, no need to use the spare battery at all.

Took a cruise with 4 days before and 3 days after. Had no issues except remembering to charge until during long day. Actually had better service than friends with eSIM.

Excellent product and service. Especially helpful was the provision of a power pack and accessories, very easy to use and pick up and drop off process very easy to follow. My phone was not E sim compatible, thus I used this product. I travelled with friends who had issues with their E sims which I didn't have. I highly recommend

Been ordering their pocket wifi during my multiple visits in Japan. It has always been reliable, no issues on connectivity. Wifi speed is constantly fast no matter if one or the "maximum people allowed" are connected. Service is always top notch. One time, I wasn't able to pick up my pocket wifi in the airport, I was able to have a smooth transaction with the customer service, and it was delivered morning the next day at my hotel. Would always use their products. Always a 5 star experience. However this time, it is my first time encountering an issue with the model I got during my August 2025 visit. Normally, the model would last the whole day, didn't need to bring the provided powerbank sometimes. For context, during my previous Japan visits, the pocket wifi will be turned on at 10am, and can last until around 6 or 7pm. However, during my latest visit, it would only last for 4 hours. Maybe it's due to the hot weather? Hopefully the company can perform quality testing on their models periodically.

Have used Japan Wireless twice and enjoyed them both times! Picked up at Narita and returned at airport post office. Very easy process.
