Japan Wireless was great. Used it in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Hakone and it was always reliable. With the extra battery pack (that I barely used) was great to have.

Very good the wifi but the battery did not function

Very effective and reliable wi-fi which enabled all four of us in our family to use it simultaneously without restriction. Wi-fi was intermittent when we were on a cruise ship at sea off the coast, but still available unless land was not visible. We got 100% coverage on all occasions when the ship was in port. We travelled extensively around Japan on coach trips into very rural and mountainous areas but we didn’t lose signal even in remote places!

It was great to use and worked excellent. Only it was difficult to get it started because the explanation on the wireless pocket router was in Japanese and we had to ask someone of the reception to start it for us. Perhs this can be changed to English.

I had no problems with receiving a signal. Worked great in Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. Order with conference. I will be using it again when I visit the Kansai region again.

Carry wi-if with you wherever you go in Japan. It was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived and easy to return in a provided mailer when we left. Cost reasonable. Highly recommend!

This was pocket size perfection. Coverage everywhere, no stress, easy and convenient.

Amazing service, amazing product. As my flight landed after their airport kiosk's opening hours, I opted to have it sent ahead to the hotel. I picked it up at the front desk upon arrival, with a clear set of instructions, all components in good condition, fully charged and ready to go. I used the pocket wifi pretty much the entire day constantly, and yet by the end of the night the battery never dipped below 25% (and even if it did, a handy free-of-charge portable battery pack was provided). The signal only dropped occasionally while using the underground metro, or when climbing up mountains or on the shinkansen (all circumstances understandable). This gadget made my trip so much smoother and more enjoyable, and all for much cheaper than it would have been had I gone through my cell's mobile service provider. I cannot recommend this enough.
