My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Japan Wireless. Service was great. I ordered late and it still made it to our hotel before we checked in. Highly recommend and will definitely use their service on future trips to Japan. どうもありがとうございます！

I rented the premium wifi as an alternative to a sim or e-sim because i wanted my whole family to be able to access wifi at a decent speed. We were happy to discover that the speeds are quite good, and that the wifi service worked everywhere we went, even in the Japanese Alps! The only small downside was that our use of the wifi did use up the device's battery in about half a day, but Japan Wireless included an extra battery that easily kept the device charged all day (just make sure to charge up the battery at the end of the day!).

The coverage is very good. There are some spotty areas usually far outside the city areas. The battery life is very long. I used it over 10 hours a day with one single overnight charge. It was very easy to pickup and return. I've never had any problem with it. I will definitely use it again for my next Japan trip.

Smooth pick up at Narita. Easy Set up. Dropped off in mailbox to return. As easy as it gets.

The pocket wifi has been sent to the hotel, we picked it up when we arrived and it worked great for all the trip. We initially had to postpone our trip of one week and they refund all the possibile amount (not the first shipping but it is fair, they already sent to the hotel when we told them). SUPER!
