My families experience with the pocket wifi was great- the battery lasted all day, we didn't really lose wifi too often, and it was affordable. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because set up was a little difficult. I had to reset the device maybe 4-5x before my phone was actually able to connect, other than that it was great.

The overall experience, from booking to collection to operation, was smooth. The connection remained stable even in the mountains, which is important to me because I rely on Google Maps for directions. The only small issue is that the battery drains quickly; by late afternoon, I need to recharge it. Returning it was very easy too.

Although Japan wifi can be found in all hotels and all centers, if you want to visit for Tokyo little touristy or if you see resorts outside tourist tours wifi pocket is the best. Used by 4 people together. Easy delivery to the hotel. Returned to the mailbox found in the hotel.
