I was concerned about ordering the tracker before arriving, because I wasn’t sure how smooth the service would be. But from start to finish Japan Wireless were communicative and helpful, I ordered fairly last minute (a few days before the trip) and the package arrived at my hotel before we landed! I was afraid of overages or other costs but the package covered everything. It made our trip so easy! You need it for accessing google maps, it was a lifesaver.

Been using a week in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and several very small towns in Kyushu. I required a constant WiFi signal for VoIP calling apps like WeChat, AT&T WiFi Calling and Whatsapp. I have been extremely impressed with how consistent the cellular data signal has been even in countryside areas. The router takes care of broadcasting and receiving the WiFi signal for multiple iPhones running in Airplane Mode. Battery life has been fine and the backup battery has worked well when needed. Package was waiting at my hotel when I arrived. Much thanks and appreciation.

Fantastic experience with this device and Japan Wireless. The device was waiting at the hotel on check-in. Took less than 2 minutes to set up and connect. Connection only dropped off once (was in an a area with multiple WiFi signals at the time). Used mainly for Google maps apart from the aforementioned dropout worked without fault. Would have literally been lost without the WI-fi device. Many thanks and highly recommended.

Easy pick up and return, made life easy during my time travelling in Japan allowing me to use maps and translators on my phone. Would highly recommend for anyone travelling or staying in a city. I will definitely use again on my next trip.

In April I went to Japan for the first time ever. I saw on a website that you could rent a wireless wifi router in Japan. I did some research and settled on Japan Wireless. The service was really good. I could just order my wireless router online, and it was sent to my first hotel. At the end of my stay I used the enclosed envelope to return the router. The price was also very reasonable. The router performance was extraordinary. It greatly helped to be able to use Google Maps and other internet based apps to get around in Japan. I strongly advice tourists to rent a wireless router for their visit to Japan.

Don't know what I would have done without it during my 2 week long trip to Japan. Wholly recommend!

I can’t believe how great this WIFI was to use. We spent 14 days travelling and never once had an issue with connectivity. The added battery pack was only used when I forgot to charge it otherwise it lasted all day until we were back in our hotel room to charge overnight. Was easy to order and then drop off at the airport in the provided envelope. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Japan

Received in a box with everything and the package to send back after your vacation already printed, the WiFi is really simple just turn on, the name and the password is written on :) next time I would choose Japan wireless again, highly recommended
