Super simple, picked it up at the airport, turned it on and we were online, all 3 of us. It's small (as small as a small mobile phone) and the battery lasted the whole day each day.

Returning it was also super easy, using the provided envelop I just dropped it in a mailbox.

Pick up and drop off experience was top notch. We got it at the hotel and dropped it off at the airport mailbox. In terms of connectivity, it's only 3 stars out of 5 as it's unstable. Overall, still satisfied as we were able to use Google maps without trouble.

Their Wi-Fi unit was awesome. It also came with a battery charger and the cables to charge both the battery and the Wi-Fi unit. It was very simple to use. Read all the directions if you get a little confused.

I'm not great with technology, but using the pocket wifi made life easy in Japan. Set up took only a few minutes, and it reliably provided internet during my month long stay, allowing me to use map apps and translation from my phone.

Highly recommend for anyone travelling to Japan. Could not have done without it.
