The process of getting, using and returning the wifi was incredibly simple and there was very little time on my travels I spent with out signal, I went between Tokyo, Osaka, Nara, Kyoto and Kinosaki onsen

Invaluable while traveling, esp if you are traveling independently for navigation, translation etc. Extra battery provided important as a day's use will sometimes require it. When power ran out completely had a bit of difficulty re-starting everything but pushed all the buttons until it rebooted.

Repeat Japan Wireless customer. The pocket wifi unit connected easily to my iPhone 15 and met all of my needs during my recent business trip. I did not have to use the supplied back-up power unit, even after long days on the road. I picked the pocket wifi unit up at Haneda International Airport upon arrival and returned it by Japan Post in the self-addressed, prepaid return envelope shortly before proceeding through the security gates at Haneda to catch my flight home. Japan Wireless promptly confirmed receipt of the returned equipment by email.
