We hired a unit for a month while cruising around Japan on ship for 2 weeks and also for 2 weeks visiting cities. The unit was wonderful and even at sea, provided good reception most of the time. Also Japan Wireless went out of their way to get the unit to us in Yokohama when our plane was late arriving in Tokyo /Narita. A pre-paid post envelope was provided and we simply put the unit with spare battery in it and posted it on our last day in Osaka.

Excellent connection and easy to use! Highly recommended for travellers to have :) only thing is that it heats up easily and remember to charge the power bank first.. as the wifi box if left I charge overnight then it’s flat in the morning.
