This product was very easy to use and provided excellent coverage and general service. The only let-downs were that you could not see your download speeds on the screen, and we had a couple of issues where it would lose service and take a while to reconnect. But these were not major issues, overall we were very satisfied with the service and will continue to use Japan Wireless for our MiFi needs.

The wifi is perfect. Just avoid overpupolated area when you are using the wifi for google maps. The locations become shady. And you lose time looking for the place you want. Like downtown tokyo or osaka. Download the maps ahead. Because the satelite gets desrupted when too much people using it at same place and time. In other places. Works perfect. I never have a problem with this wifi. Very fast. Very easy to use. Have a power bank. The battery life of the wifi is about 12 hours when you use it constantly. And the power bank will give you 7 hours for your wifi. Will use this wifi again when i go back to japan. Very easy to return. Thankful for japanwireless for saving my honeymoon.

Trips to Japan without this device would be a real struggle.

Always functioned perfectly , battery lasted all day

If your travelling anywhere in Japan this is a must have. It worked flawlessly and it's very easy to use and it's small and fits in any pocket. Its a life saver to always have internet so you can use GPS, translation devices, or just browsing the internet. It lasted well over 8 hours of continuous use and even comes with a mobile battery to charge it with for basically double the battery life. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone from out of country, when your phone has no service.
