This wifi service was fantastic. As an anxious first time traveller to Japan I was relying heavily on the internet to get around. I had no trouble with this service - I was very happy. I’m planning to return next year and will definitely be using this service. It was waiting for me at the hotel as requested. It was easy to return at the airport post box.

I used the pocket WiFi for an 18 day visit to Japan. We stayed in Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto and visited Osaka and Nara.
Regardless where we were, we had good connectivity all the time. When you are trying to access Google Maps or other online information this was invaluable.
The charge on the device lasted all day for us (and there was a battery pack for extra charge for heavier users).
Japan Wireless delivered the device to our first hotel so it was available for us immediately. (I think you can pickup at airport if you wish).
Returning it with the prepaid packaging was also very easy.
I would strongly recommend this device if you need internet connectivity on your travels.

My wife's phone didn't support eSIM. This solution was great for 12days.

Easy, good service and really useful.

WiFi connection was seamless throughout my 2 week visit. The power pack came in handy and I used it to charge my phone while traveling. The connection was good even when it was used on trains! Great experience and will not hesitate to use Japan Wireless again!
