Amazing and essential piece of hardware if you're planning to visit Japan. It will make your trip incredibly easier. The device will offer 4G high-speed connectivity, which will work literally everywhere. In two weeks, I only experienced a moment (frankly no more than a few minutes) where the 4G network was down. And it was not in a subway train, as the premium wifi will work always in subway lines (tried those in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka).

The pocket wifi and battery pack was waiting for us when we arrived at our Tokyo hotel in Shinjuku on a Sunday evening.
Such a quick and efficient service.
So useful to have both of us able to connect to the internet; also not having to worry about data usage. We were using wifi constantly - Google maps; Google translate; reviews; trains; museums etc etc.
Definitely was a massive contribution to us having a fabulous first time adventure exploring parts of Japan. Wholeheartedly recommend Japan Wireless.

It worked everywhere. From Tokio via Atami, Kyoto, Nara, Osaka and Okinawa. Inbetween 3 weeks we needed the extra power bank only on one day. Due to the fact that we couldn't use that with our hungry smartphones we used our own more powerful one for it that day.

Very happy with our wireless. Was waitimg for us at the hotel. Easy to understand, good connection where ever we were, good battery time and easy to return.

It was really easy to use, and lasted all day. Everyday, we set out our day at 7AM and came back to the hotel roughly around 9-10PM every night; never needed to use the charging port it came with. Typically, would last you all day if you charge it overnight. The only issue we had was finding the place to pick up the device. It is very hidden.

We spent 19 days traveling and depended upon the portable WiFi during our stay. It was very dependable.
