Rented a mobile wifi box before so I decided to do so again as me, and my family, phones were not able to hold a e-sim at the time. Wifi basically never went out and speed was fantastic. Picked it up at haneda airport when it opened as I booked in advance. This was smooth and easy as well as drop off. Would recommend doing this option if you're traveling in a group most of the time. It helped that main/popular areas had their own wifi but it does mean splitting up should be sparse.

I visited Japan for the first time and I was welcomed by a staff member when he saw I was confused. He came to me and told me to sit down and relax and he brought everything to me to install on my phone. He was polite informative and super helpful. I will use this service again.

If you want a trouble free trip in Japan, this is a must, it worked all the time everywhere, great device and signal.

The device was waiting for us in our hotel. Easy to setup. You just drop off the device into mail box at the airport. Return envelope was provided. Can recommend.

Ordered this late but they found a way for me to get it as the device cannot be delivered to our guesthouse (they only deliver in hotels). The customer service is quick to reply and guided me in every way.
Internet is a breeze all the time and there is a spare battery in case it becomes low batt. Returning was never a problem since I should only drop it mailboxes in the airport
