wifi worked perfectly for our trip, was essential to getting around. The extra battery didn't seem to work that well but the battery on the wifi lasted most of the day so we didn't need it. Pick up counter was a bit confusing to find - there are several at HND and it's not obvious which one you're supposed to go to. Drop off was very easy.

Internet service was seamless.

This was my first time using this company. Previously, I had rented it in my country and brought it to japan.
This was by far easier! They dropped it off at my hotel in japan so it was ready by the time I arrived at my hotel and drop off was done in the airport terminal. We also noticed that compared to prior models I had rented from other companies, this one lasted over 12 hours every day so we didnt need the back up battery so much.
We will be using this service again!

Straight forward pick up at Haneda. Set up was very easy. Quick reliable wifi throughout my visit . Power pack very useful. Dropped off at Haneda post box at end of visit.

This was the easiest transaction. The pickup at Narita airport was smooth. The directions were clear. We used this WiFi access every day for 14 days while in Japan. LOVED it…. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Japan!

The pocket wifi pick up process was pretty easy and the travel counter at Narita was easy enough to find for first timers. It also worked great and the speed was fast enough with many devices connected to it at the same time. My only complaint was the usb port to charge it was probably faulty as it charged fine sitting on a table at the hotel but when carried in the backpack and moving around, the wire came loose alot and it didn't charge. So we did have problems with it's battery life when we were out a whole day. Anyway, we were traveling around too much to have a replacement sent to us so it was fine.
The return process was super easy and we were notified it was received very fast. All in all, it was a good purchase and we would use Japan Wireless again in the future! Thanks!
