Product was professionally packaged and ready for me at Narita Airport when I arrived from the States. No issues with getting it connected onto their network and getting my devices attached with Wifi. Data speeds were way better than I could get back home. It is a Japanese company with great service. No comparison.

Very easy to use and work all time

For almost 10 years I've always used Japan-Wireless as they've never let me down, wherever I am in Japan.

Wifi was fast and stable throughout Okinawa (I went as far north as Churaumi Aquarium). But i somehow burst the data “limit”! Foreign tourists beware: if you use too much data your speed will drop to an unusable level, so I advise turning off cloud backup and checking your streaming settings (because your devices think they are on wifi, which usually uses more data).
Japan Wireless was quick to respond when I contacted them, and offered a solution.

From pick up at the airport down to returning it via mail, we never had any issues with the pocket wifi traveling throughout Japan. We took it with us from Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchi.

We booked it online a few days before our arrival in Japan and it was smooth. Claiming it was also easy, we went to the Global Wifi store in Fukuoka Airport and they just for the passport and confirmation email. There were just times when we would suddenly get disconnected from the internet but it was an easy fix by restarting the device. It worked in all Japan cities we travelled to like Fukuoka, Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo.
