Worked perfectly! I had rented for 6 days and had no issues. Pick up and drop off was easy. Only tip I have is make sure to charge it at night to avoid low battery during the day. You can also connect more than 1 device to WiFi which I thought was cool.

Japan - Wireless has been so amazing with us through out our trip in Japan. Always fast no interruptions. We were a party of 16 and had rented with different wifi providers. We have noticed signal interruptions with the others but not with Japan wireless.

It also has long battery life. We were out most of the time and never had the router ran out of battery - 12-14 hrs a day.
I also forgot to drop the wifi router at the airport and they are very responsive to my inquiry with returning it via International Mail from Australia. It was a very good experience with them.

I had good coverage in Tokyo, Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. It worked fine. Although I did face some issues with the speed but it looks like it was due to the Fair Usage Policy.
