Used this over 10 days around Tokyo Yokohama and hakone. Very reliable and pretty fast service for my wife and I. The battery lasted 10 hours every day and charged quickly when needed.

It’s just like having your phone’s full capabilities in a foreign country. As a first timer going to Japan, the WiFi made it super easy to get around on the public transportation. Also, most of the channels for the TV was in Japanese. Didn’t matter with this when you can watch YouTube. Very affordable as well. It is a MUST HAVE!

This was my first trip to Japan and I was refereed to this company by a friend that also had a recent favorable experience. Reserving a hotspot for Japan is the only way to go. I didn’t deal with any SIM card concerns (new local Japanese phone numbers, having to remove your case to put in the SIM, etc). When I left the US my phone was in airplane mode the ENTIRE duration of my trip until I got back to the US. I didn’t miss a call, text, voicemail, email, etc. The connection was consistent, reliable, and fast. The device itself seemed to have a 7-8 hour life on it, but the included battery back up keeps you connected until your day is over. I will 100% use this company again the next time I travel to Japan!
