We hired the premium wifi mobile unit - excellent value for money - fantastic speed and even connected underground! Three of us were connected. So easy to order in advance. We had it delivered to our hotel and it was there on arrival. Returning was so easy, popped into supplied envelope for posting, had a comforting email the following day to confirm safe receipt. Highly recommend.

Picked this up from the post office at the airport and it worked straight out of the packet. We had 4 devices connected for nearly three weeks and only once did I need to restart it to refresh the connection. It did get quite warm so I kept it in my rucksack but it's pretty small. The range seemed pretty good and it rarely couldn't get a connection even in places where I wouldn't expect it to. It wasn't the cheapest but it certainly wasn't overpricedvand I felt it was well worth the price given the performance.

Excellent customer service

The pocket WiFi we used in japan worked very well and we used it to get around. The unlimited WiFi was great for its price. The only downside was the charger that came with it didn’t work, but we brought plenty of portable chargers to keep it going. Would recommend!

The pick up service at Narita Airport was very easy from the Post Office, easy to find once you arrive.

The internet service was extremely useful to have whilst travelling in Japan, no issues at all with connection considered we travelled to Hokkaido from Tokyo as well as to Nagoya.

The drop off was just as easy at the Narita airport.

In my view after 4 trips to Japan in the recent 5 years, you would definitely need high speed internet whilst travelling, it makes your life a lot more easier. I would highly recommend Japan Wireless to anyone looking at renting pocket wifi in Japan.
