My family and friends (group of 6 adults) spent 10 beautiful days in Japan. We used Japan Wireless Premium WiFI with additional battery pack (included in the offer) and we were very satisfied and pleasantly surprised (!!!) with it. As soon as we landed in Japan, we took wifi pocket package in the post office at Narita airport and used it ALL the time, until we put it back in the post box in front of passport control on departure gates (in the same airport) 10 days later.
We traveled to Tokyo, Nikko, Kyoto, Osaka, Kamakura,.. and signal was perfect!
Of those 6 adults, 3 was older teenagers (meaning: instagram, youtube, twitter, facebook - non stop...) + google maps, normal internet and mail usage for rest of us (older) all the time. You can imagine internet data usage. We were in the move all the time (and we always used wifi included in hotel offer during night), but we manage to spent almost 90 GB of data transfer through Premium Wifi Pocket without any problems or teenagers shouts of displeasure.
So, Japan Wireless Premium Wifi deserves our FULL RECOMMENDATIONS AS PERFECT CHOICE for tourists in JAPAN.

Absolutely no issues - worked almost anywhere, only some degradation in a few long railway tunnels

Booked three weeks with pick up in the hotel in Hiroshima. It was already waiting there for me and while a power bank is provided it was never necccessary to use it. Very good and fast connection everywhere (Hakone mountains it was a bit unstaible). Connection to computer and smartphone without problems.
Totally would recommened and use it again.
