I have used a Japan Wireless mobile wi-fi device on several trips to Japan and never had any issues. Its super easy to collect and drop off and never had any problems with wi-fi connectivity even in remote areas. Will definitely use on my next trip. Staff are very helpful too.

Upon check in at my hotel in Yokohama, the WiFi router was waiting for me. A slight hiccup with set up, but there were directions on how to reset the unit and once I had it set up we never had another problem with it. Used the wi fi unit for 3+ weeks all over Japan and never had a problem. Speeds were usually pretty decent. Returning the unit was easy once we found the postal box at Narita airport. An information desk volunteer was extremely helpful with that. Would use this service again.

This product saved me. Long story short I was on a tour that kicked off in S.Korea for this first 8 days and then transitioned to Japan. Because of issues with the phone company I was without data, talk and text the first part of my trip and only could use WiFi. I knew I needed access to data when I went to Japan and this product saved me. First pricing amazing! Second, easy to reserve (did so less than 24 hours in advance). Third pick up process took less time to brush your teeth. Fourth it came with a back battery pack which wasn't even necessary most of the time bc the battery lasted so long. Fifth could have multiple devices from this one use data. Data was quick and reliable everywhere in Japan and lastly it was super seamless and convenient to return when I left the country by just popping it back into a postal box which are clearly marked in the airport on my way out. Love this product and would recommend to anyone.

Japan-wireless was recommended to me by a friend. I found the whole process to be very convenient and easy. I ordered the wifi to be delivered to our hotel before I left Australia and it was as simple as putting in the post box before we left. We used it for our 2 phones and my laptop (as I had to do some work while I was away). No issues with connectivity at all.

I preordered my pocket WiFi through Japan Wireless earlier this month and was pleased when it arrived at the concierge desk at my hotel the morning of my arrival. It was light weight and seamless to use. It came with an extra battery which I never had to use because the pocket WiFi lasted all day until I got back to my hotel to recharge. It gave me coverage all around Tokyo and Kyoto as well. The best thing about it was that I shared it with my 2 kids who were able to play games on their phones and scroll social media during longer taxi rides. I’m so glad I decided to go with Japan Wireless.
