Traveled from Sapporo all the way to Nagasaki.
No connection issues aside from traveling in the tunnels when on the Bullet train.

Only thing was that device and portable battery had no charge on pickup.
Had my own battery pack so it was fine.

I’ve traveled to Japan five times now in the last two years and this was the first time I purchased a wifi puck. It was the best decision ever and I regret not doing it sooner. It made traveling and navigating that much easier and was incredibly less expensive and had a much stronger connection than using an international phone plan. Doing this every time I visit!

Easy booking and pickup, cheapest price we found, and simple return (into a provided pre-paid satchel in the post box at the airport). Nothing better than having fast, unlimited internet for all our devices at all times during our trip. Wifi worked well, battery ran out 2 times in 10 days but we just plugged in the provided portable battery and all was well. Recommended.
