Renting the Japan Wireless Wi-Fi was one of the top 2 things I did in while in Japan. Even though there are many places now that have wifi, the convenience of not having to log on every single time you go somewhere different, and to have it available when you are walking down the street makes it worth renting it. I used it alot for research, for maps to get from one place to another, and for wireless texting and calling. Japan Wireless made it easy to pick up and drop off, the package came with a backup battery and charging cord (which was very useful after a day of use), and the wifi was fast. I would definitely use Japan Wireless again while in Japan.

Cannot fault this service. This was a lifesaver in Japan and we’d have been a bit lost without it! Had zero issues with it and the battery life was great - with back up charger pack of required. 100% recommend!

All process was easy and reachable to WiFi anytime. Although I was departed one day before the arrival, they arranged the product to send it out to the pick up point slightly earlier. So that I could get the tracking number before I was on board to the plane. Excellent service!

I collected the device at the airport (Tokyo Haneda) and dropped at the airport of Osaka in a post box as recommended.
I had no signal issues (Tokyo, Kyoto, Yamanakako, Nara and Osaka).
The battery can go easily through an entire day and we never used the included backup battery. An example, 4 people constantly connected from 7am, at 9pm the device had still 15%-20% of charge left. Unbelievable! I would recommend this device to everyone.
