Definitely something one needs when traveling. Only issue I had was receiving a power bank alongside with the pocket WiFi and it not putting out power. It was able to charge and show lights but not push out any power to both the pocket WiFi and other cellular devices I've had with me in Japan. Luckily I had my own power bank to supply it with power. Nonetheless I will be picking up another one when I head back to Japan.

This Is my second time renting from this company and i loved having it both times. It was easy to pick up and drop off at the airport, and compact enough to fit in my smallest bag. The fact that it came with an extra battery was great because if you're out all day, there is NO way the wifi will last on it's own, even after being charged fully. 9/10 would rent again

Usamos el Japan Wireless durante 25 días. Tuvimos problemas con la batería extra, hicimos el reclamo vi a email y nos enviaron inmediatamente una nueva al hotel. Estamos muy conformes, es un producto altamente recomendable e indispensable.

This gadget is extremely handy, keeps you connected even on very remote islands and is easy to order and to return. As long as roaming costs are so high, an absolute must for your Japan tour.

This was the perfect solution to our wifi needs while on vacation. It was easy to order online, a really good price, and was there at the airport waiting for us when we arrived. I love that we were able to just drop it in the mail at the end of our trip. We had uninterrupted wifi the entire time and the battery lasted all day. We liked that it came with an extra battery pack just in case. I will recommend it to everyone traveling to Japan.

Surprisingly easy: had it delivered at our hotel in Tokyo and pretty much only needed to check-in. Just as easily dropped it off in one of the many mailboxes in Osaka.
WhatsApp, Google Maps, TripAdvisor, public transport applications, Facetime, Messenger on the go for a good 12 hours straight.
Would recommend it to everyone visiting Japan.
Ps: definitely check out the okonimiyaki in Osaka. Yum, delish!
