Very useful thing to have, fast speed, good battery life as well.

We hired this on our recent trip to Tokyo. I opted for Japan Wireless as they seemed to be one of the only providers who offer a "totally unlimited" package. It was fairly straightforward to pick up from Narita Airport, the only small issue was finding the post office. The device worked straight out of the box. Signal & speed were perfectly adequate, although I doubt we ever got 187Mbps! I returned the parcel back to the same post office in Narita, although I was a little wary that they did not offer proof of postage.

Overall it was excellent & definitely good value. Highly recommended, will be ordering again next time!

My only issue was the battery life. A power bank is provided, but its awkward charging on the go and gets hot! It would be ideal if the internal battery could last a full day.

Excellent connectivity, speed and life battery.
In the pack also a charger and a power bank, which is an added bonus, but a necessity when you are a tourist in a foreign city exploring 14+ hours a day.

The best thing to rent for a trip to Japan. Easy steps to rent it online, pick it up at the airport and return it the day you’ll leave the country just by mail it in a mail box.

This was an affordable and convenient option. It made getting around Japan and using the public transportation very easy. Pick up and drop off at the airport was simple and easy. Would highly recommend.
