The Pocket Wi-Fi worked almost everywhere we went in fact the only time we didn’t have range was only one single spot on Mount Omuro. An added bonus was the battery pack that came with the pocket wifi giving a full 24 hours of use and helping extend our phones lives as well.

The whole process was easy and stress free, we opted for the hotel delivery option and it was there on arrival. It came with clear instructions and worked throughout our holiday across multiple cities. It is compact and lightweight, so very easy to carry with you.

The whole procedure to acquire my unit was super simple and without any hassles. The unit itself was perfect for our long stay and never dropped out of signal once while using it. The battery lasted basically the entire day so we only really needed to charge it at night. Speeds were consistently high, could have 2 people streaming 4k netflix while on trains with no issues at all. The return was super simple also, just seal the unit up in the provided return post bag and drop it in a post box at the airport.

Would definitely recommend getting one for your trip to Japan. I don't know what we would have done without it.

Great device. Great service

We went for a City round trip in Japan. For 3 weeks we habe been using train, trams and ferrys non-stop. The network-coverage and Internet speed was really good. Barely disconnects even when driving through rural areas by train. I compared a lot of Routers beforehand and it wasn't sure which one to choose. Didnt regret my choice. Definitely recommended for City tours!
