It worked everywhere I when in Kyoto but I had to charge it as I was exploring. I used it for directions on Google map and read manga as I was in transportation. They give you a portable battery but I used my own because mines was bigger so I can only review the wi-fi.

A must have when in Japan: easy ordering and payment, on time delivery and great reception. Would definitely book during a next trip!

The wifi was better than we get at home and was easily able to connect multiple devices. We never lost connection and with the battery pack, it lasted all day with charge to spare. Will definitely use again, it made our trip much less stressful!

I've ordered this product for my last two trips to Japan and I've never had any problems with it. I really appreciate the option to delivering the product to the hotel, which faciliates things a lot in my opinion. It's super compact, doesn't need much room in one's pocket and you can access the Internet from everywhere in Japan. I definitely recommend this one.
