I’ve used Japan Wireless many times and will continue to use their service! I have never lost connection throughout Japan! Looking forward to the next trip with Japan Wireless!

I hired a pocket WiFi that came with a cable and portable battery in a handy pouch. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, I missed the return post box before airport security in Japan, so I had to send the device back via international recorded delivery at my own cost. I also had to pay for the portable battery, as it couldn’t be returned by post. This was completely my fault, though I do wish there had been another return option after security. Despite this, I’m very happy with the service and will definitely use it again — and I won’t make the same mistake next time.

Used this for our 12 day trip to Japan. Was super easy picking it up from the airport and getting it going before we left out so we could use Google maps to catch the train. It came with everything you need to keep it charged. Had no issues since me and my husband stayed together the whole trip. Just kept it in our backpack. Would definitely purchase again when I get a chance to go back.

Not the best in terms of weight and battery, but incredibly powerful. Also, pick-up and drop-off strategy was just top.

Has worked flawlessly for entire duration of my trip (14 days). Pickup (just outside Kansai airport) and drop off (at a postbox inside Narita international airport, near check-in counters) were convenient and quick. Charge for the device used to run out after about 6 hrs, but the included power bank was then used for recharging, provided full day service. My use was within city limits, across Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Nagoya and Tokyo.
