This technology worked great while I was traveling in Japan. Japan Wireless communications were prompt and it was responsive to my requests. Incredibly easy to order and to return.

I had great coverage everywhere I went from Utsunomiya area north of Tokyo to Kitakyushu area in south of Japan and all the many places between as well as while traveling on the Shinkansen. I had 2 to 3 devices connected most of the time and the battery kept all day. I never needed the extra battery charger. Will use Japan Wireless on my next visit to Japan.

The WiFi worked like a dream. There were 3 of us using the 1 device. The only issue if you got a little separated from whoever was carrying the device you would lose service so for next time I would think about renting at least 2 devices. Well worth the money.

In Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, the internet is stable and high speed.

Convenient pickup in Airport. Just be sure to confirm which kiosk to pick up from. There are multiple kiosks located in the airport that support many different providers. Speed of device was adequate and no issues experienced with signal drop. Battery lasted all day without having to use the provided wireless battery charger.
