Highly recommended for your trip to japan. All my family was able to use it smoothly, and during long journeys on both coaches and bullet trains. The only negative was that battery life doesnt last long, and the one provided has low charge capacity. Luckily i had many of my own personal powerbanks to help.

Wifi worked out great for our family of four. The wifi kept up even with my two teens scrolling and posting the whole day. Thankfully the backup battery adapter was also provided and this worked out perfectly. Would definitely reuse Japan Wireless again on our next trip back.
