Did quite a bit of research on wireless options for cellular service while in Japan. Our phones were not able to use an eSIM so this was best option especially for multiple phones! Never had any connection issues, and the battery lasted a while. We did have to charge through the portable charger around the late afternoon/early evening timeframe but that was after being out and about and utilizing the wifi all day. Pickup and return was super easy as well. Will definitely use Japan Wireless again!

I had no issues with using pocket wifi while traveling in Japan. It was convenient to pick up and drop off at the airport.

Ordered 2 units, one for wife and I and one for Kids whilst in Japan for 2 weeks. They were essential and well used. There were very few times where signal was dropped, (used in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto) and really enabled us to remain connected throughout our stay. Not the cheapest, but easy collection, drop off and use. Would use again.

Good connectivity during my entire stay. Battery life was good as well, with overnight charging. Pickup at Haneda was a little confusing, but return was super simple.

I toured Japan on my own and genuinely found this a lifesaver at times! No worries about connecting to WiFi , no spam emails generated as often can be the case, able to recharge with the battery pack which I also used for my phone. Worth every penny ! As a female traveller abroad I had one less worry to concern myself about ! Thank you.

This was brilliant, smooth pick up at haneda airport. The WiFi was amazing, 6 of us used it and found no issue at all. Drop off at haneda was very simple as well.
