Made things a lot easier to have this device with us . And it was sent straight to my hotel so that was very convenient.

We rented this device for our 11 day trip in Japan. It worked flawlessly from pickup to drop off. Instructions were extremely clear right down to the map for postal box locations in the airport. WiFi signal was excellent. Highly recommend!

Pocket wifi is a great alternative to esim.
The device from japan wireless worked great, its battery lasted for a full day when fully charged (so the extra powerbank provided was never needed) , never had a problem with its coverage and the speeds were adequate for casual usage. (social, streaming, browsing).
When service was down for about an hour we were swiftly informed by email.
