The WiFi unit works well and the cost is good. Picking up and returning is simple enough.
The one issue was that the supplied charger and cable didn’t work well and I needed to use my own.

Used the Japan Wireless WI-Fi for 10 days , everything about it was flawless, from ordering to the package waiting for me at the hotel and being returned by hotel staff .great service . We were able to use our phones with no other apps necessary everywhere we went in Japan. …thank you 🙂

Wifi worked brilliantly for our holiday with multiple devices using at once speeds never dropped. It was super easy to set up and charge and the pick up and drop off instructions were easy to understand. Will definitely use Japan Wireless again for our next trip to Japan for our pocket wifi

The device was easy to order online and I was happy that everything worked as intended and it was incredibly easy to set up and use. We had excellent coverage everywhere we went (except near some areas of Mt. Fuji but we didn't need WiFi at that time so it was not an inconvenience for us). The pocket WiFi lasted most of the day. Around 4pm Japan time it would start needing a charge but the device we ordered came with a free power bank that charged it back up quickly and lasted the rest of the day. The cable from the power bank to the device wasn't that great though - it would easily disconnect so we used our own cable. I also liked that the device was readily available to pick up at the airport (although I wish I had sent it to the hotel instead only because we landed at the Osaka airport and it took about 10 minutes before we finally found the kiosk - that was more my preference because I wanted to ensure everything worked and we had WiFi after we left the airport but it was still very easy to pick up). The package also came with a pre-paid return envelope that could be dropped off at any post box or post office anywhere in Japan. There was a post office at the airport so we dropped it off before heading inside the main terminal and we received a confirmation email that it was returned the next day. Overall, the pocket WiFi worked great for us - we shared with 5 people total and the internet speed was excellent. My only minor complaint was we had to be fairly close to each other to stayed connected but I understand that's a limitation of technology. I believe it was about 400 ft. (121 meters) before you got disconnected which wasn't bad. I don't recall the exact distance but again it wasn't an issue since we were together the whole time. The price was reasonable and we used the device for about 10 days total. I would order from Japan Wireless again and highly recommend.

I wanted to leave a review because I am very pleased with Japan Wireless' WiFi Puck. The website was very easy to use and registering was seamless. The total cost for the 17 days was great! The customer service pickup counter was great and easy. For the most part, I had 5G unlimited WiFi throughout my travels in Tokyo to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kanazawa, and Chiba. The return process was awesome because the puck came with a self addressed envelope and all I had to do was put it all together in the pouch and drop it off outside of my hotel. 3 days later, I received a confirmation of return and it was that simple. Thank you for a great process and plan.
