Ordered it a couple days before I landed in HND. It arrived on time and pick up was easy. I never had a problem with the wifi and it was consistently fast. I would definitely use this again the next time I come to Japan.

This was my first trip to Japan and it was such a relief to have WiFi in my pocket with me at all times. I visited the Iya valley, Mount Koya and Naoshima island along with several major cities and I only remember reception dropping twice - once in a mountain range and once out at sea. Pick up and drop off were convenient and upload and download speeds were excellent. I was uploading to Instagram and streaming throughout my trip with no hassles. I'm going to rent from here, again.

We traveled to Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, and Osaka and the pocket wifi was great for traveling between all those areas. No signal issues at any point, even when traveling on the Shinkansen. We had 4 phones connected to it and the speed was great. We used this instead of sim cards or an international plan so we could have access to the internet, apps, and google maps. Great price, easy pick up and drop off at the airports. The battery lasted most of our day and they provided a battery power pack too. No issues for anyone trying to log on. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to have portable internet access! Fits easily into a purse or pocket and totally worth it.

I couldn't fault the service offer by Japan Wireless, or the product itself.
It was at my hotel when I arrived. Easy to use through out my trip in Japan and easy to drop off at the airport post office on my departure.
I would highly recommend Japan Wifi and would use it again when traveling in Japan.
