I traveled from Canada to Japan this summer on a school trip and was unsure if I should rent a pocket wifi or use a SIM card for my phone. After hours of research, I ended up going with Japan Wireless. They had the best rates AND unlimited wifi! At one point, I was able to share the wifi with 5 other friends as we traveled on the Shinkansen. The pocket wifi even comes with it's own portable charger which I was very impressed to see. I chose to pick up the pocket wifi at the airport. The instructions were easy to follow and the wifi was ready for me when I arrived! Returning the wifi was even easier as all I had to do was pack it in a package that came with the wifi and drop it in a local mail box. I would highly recommend this service to anyone traveling to Japan. I never had any difficulties or complaints!

My boyfriend and I used this thing a lot when we went to Japan! Especially useful for navigation purposes or if you quickly want to check for information.
The battery lasted more than a day with continued use. Perfect!
