Although I never received the full 187Mbps, it was fast enough for my needs of using Google maps, Yelp, and internet browsing. My kids did not complain while they streamed YouTube and what not, so it worked as advertised.

The WiFi router worked everywhere we went across Japan. The router was delivered to our hotel and customer service was excellent when our flight home was cancelled

There is WiFi across Japan, however this little diamond saves all the sign in hassle. Worth the money

Thought about internet access with only 3 days to go to our 3 week trip, did a bit of internet research and settled on this company - easy to order on line and impressed to see the envelope delivered as planned when we checked into our first hotel in Kobe. We were then almost never without good Wifi using our 2 iPhones and a MacBook for the whole trip including train journeys and some more rural areas. Can’t imagine navigating Tokyo without Wifi and Googlemaps! The device is about a 5cm square, 1cm thick and stayed in a rucksack or coat pocket. Overnight charge easily lasted all day and we never needed the included back up mobile charger. It gets a bit hot with a lot of use. Very easy to stick in the provided envelope and post at the airport departure gate. Highly recommended.
