I had a little trouble with it charging at first which caused me to panic, but once I figured out what I was doing wrong it worked great. The unit did not take up too much space. I would use this again!

Very satisfied with this company and their products, their customer service goes above and beyond also, I had booked for the wrong date by mistake, sent and email and got a response within 24 hours, they adjusted my rental period, so thankful for the WiFi during my stay in Japan, highly recommend.

We used a pocket WiFi from Japan Wireless for our entire 6 week stay in Japan. We traveled all over Honshu and Kyushu and never had any connectivity or speed issues. The device also came with a free battery charger that came in handy many times. It was super easy to pick up the device upon landing at Narita and the provided mailing envelope made the return even easier.

I recently stayed in Japan for 14 days and had an incredible trip.

Last year I visited for 19 days and used an E-Sim and I was not impressed with the quality of the service. The speed was constantly slowed and I was not able to use my phone consistently when needed.

This year I had absolutely no issues with coverage or speed. It was phenomenal! Whenever I needed my phone, mostly for Google Maps, I had full access and full service. There was only one place, way up in Fukushima Pre where I did not have coverage. But I was deep in the mountains, so it is expected.

I will be using Japan Wireless again.

Very simple to book and was ready at hotel when we arrived. Worked like a dream with 2 of us connected pretty much all day. Highly recommend

We used the portable wifi-router everywhere in Tokyo and it worked really well. It was a must to have WiFi to access for example Google maps, that was really necessary being able to find our way to different places.

My experience with Japan Wireless was excellent. I preordered on line. When I arrived in Japan, it was waiting for me at my hotel. All I needed was included in the package, even the return envelope.
The gadget worked and I had wi-fi when I needed as I traveled through Japan. I was able to use maps, translate and send emails when I needed . In the end, I packed everything up, put it in the provided envelope. This is my second experience with Japan Wireless and I would use this service again.
