This wifi was the best thing ever. Honestly the service was on point. We went to Japan for 20 days and not one day the service was bad. We climbed mountFuji and still had service. Best option as US carriers charge so much for service. Tis wifi easiest to get and easiest to drop off. Thank you for making our Japan trip si much better

Only issue when we were in the bullet train, there are times where connection was slow and stopped. But overall, we did not had any big issue and connection was really good

I always rent my pocket wifi from Japan Wireless. It's always there waiting for me at my hotel or my daughter's residence. Spare battery always helps and I usually leave from Fukuoka International airport and they have a Japan post box on the ground floor..so convenient.

Bought this as a first time wifi device while in Japan. I had it shipped to my first hotel which handed it well over when I arrived. The box came with the return all set up as well (airport has a box for it). It came with charger cable and a small power bank.
Travelled to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, miyajima, Okayama, Tottori, Yanago, Hakone and many more spots. Only had issues once while in Tokyo. (Needed to remove sim to reset device).
As I didn't see an esim option with unlimited data. This worked perfectly for my trip. Will definitely use this service again when I visit Japan (hopefully soon) in the future.
