Very easy and great WiFi support when traveling through Japan

We (a group of seven) rented two pocket WiFi units for 21 days from Japan Wireless so that even if we split up, both groups were connected. The pocket WiFi units were very affordable and were worth every yen. They worked perfectly throughout Japan--even in the high country--and ensured we were always connected wherever we went. This was easy to use and it was nice to have a reliable source of wifi. I highly recommend this service! I advise that you to make sure you select your return date a day after your departure. This is because the turn-in time is at 12pm and mailboxes might be difficult to locate, but guaranteed locations are at the airports (list provided by Japan Wireless). It will prevent late fees and allow you to comfortably use wifi on your last day in Japan:))

Easy pick up, reliable device, and easy drop off. No problems at all.

Japan Wireless’s wifi plan was perfect. It was easy to pick up right at the airport and start using it. Having a wifi was such a game changer in navigating through Japan. It helped us to get around, find restaurants and translate menus and anything else that needs translating. Return was also easy.
The unit itself has a long battery life we never even used the battery that they provided but it was a nice to have. The plan itself was excellent always had internet connection so was never left in the dark. Wholeheartedly recommend!!
