We were happy to have this option during our family travels to Japan. Our 5GB included with our cell plan (and one device without cell) would go very quickly so this was peace of mind for us. I appreciated the power bank as in some areas, the wireless battery drained quickly but the powerbank was always enough to get us through the day.

The premium Wi-Fi was delivered on time, was easy to use and worked well.

I've used the Premium Pocket WiFi from Japan Wireless the last 3-4 times I've been to Japan, both alone and with friends and it's worked virtually flawlessly, and if there ever was a problem their customer support have helped me within minutes. Just outstanding!

You get the Pocket WiFi, a battery pack, charging cables/socket, and a return package envelope. The battery is a nice addition that might just save the day when you're out and about for a long time. Very convenient.

The pickup/dropoff procedure couldn't be easier. Just put in your flight or arrival time and pickup the package at the airport, which is usually very easy to find, and before you head home just put everything in the return package and put it in a mailbox - it's all laid out in the easy-to-follow instructions on the envelope.

The WiFi speed and coverage is pretty good. I'm a bit of an adventurer and there are certainly places up in the mountains or in caves where the coverage is spotty, but I doubt anyone or anything has coverage there. All in all I couldn't be happier.
