This is my 3rd time renting with Japan Wireless and I have nothing but a positive experience with them. Pick up and return is simple. They are my go-to for renting a pocket wi-fi in Japan.

Fast connection and durable battery, very good service

Good coverage, even inside Shinkansen.
Easy to return by any mailbox in prepared envelope. The description for picking it up could be better, I went to the wrong counter first.

Everything was great, smooth pick up experience at Narita Airport and we resolved the "problem" of mobile data for a very resonable price.

My phone isn't compatible with esims so I rented this Wi-Fi device for 10 days. I never had to worry about the battery because lasted for hours while I was out BUT even if it died they also provide a portable charger. Picking it up was very simple and for drop off you have to find a red mailbox near you and just drop it in there in the prepaid return envelope they provide. It was also nice that I didn't have to worry about running out of data.

Used it 3 times already. Works perfectly, make sure the charge is full in the morning and it will last the whole day. Never had the slightest problem. I feel completely safe always connected.
