Pick up and drop off were very easy. No issues with using the wifi with multiple devices. Only had to reset the signal a few times and that always fixed a slow connection. Worked well all over Tokyo.

I was contemplating between getting an eSim or a Pocket WiFi, and I'm thrilled I chose the Pocket WiFi! It turned out to be the best decision. It's incredibly reliable with no drop-offs and is conveniently small, fitting perfectly in my backpack. They even provided a charging adapter compatible with Australia. The service was exceptional from start to finish, including order confirmation, delivery, and return—it was all seamless. If I ever travel to Japan again, I'll definitely choose Japan Wireless.

Twice I've used japan wireless and it's been amazing each time. I did have a issue as the data provider toggled my connection as I used too much data in a day but 24hours later it was all back to normal (with a data sim card) still Highly recommend them and will use them every time I travel to japan.

Customer service is also excellent.

Aussie here! We purchased the pocket wifi for our 18 day 2024 Japan Trip and ohhhh my god it was amazing! Fast speed, long battery life AND it came with a portable charger just in case. We had two devises connected to it with no issue. Loaded google maps fast and our social media never lagged when I was uploading pictures everyday. Pick Up was in the airport and Drop Off was at the nearest post office so that made things super easy. 100% recommend for your next Japan holiday.
