This was the perfect solution for our family of 4 while travel around Japan. It was inexpensive and convenient to pick up the unit at the airport and return it with the provided envelope to be dropped off at any mailbox.

Rented translator and pocket wifi for my trip. Having both enhanced trip and was a huge help. Checkout and return was seamless which was a huge plus.

Very convenient and fast

Picked up form Terminal 2 at Narita airport at 7pm. No issue with drop outs through out Tokyo, Mt Fuji, Osaka, Nagoya, Nara and Hiroshima for us. Battery lasted all day and they portable charger came in handy for our phones! We misplaced our reply paid envelope in the movement between hotels, however, Japan Wireless customer service operator was able to talk us through the process at the local post office to send back, and it was still reply paid, so no charge to us. Five stars!

It was easy to reserve the pocket wifi, pick up, and use! I would definitely recommend to anyone needing wifi while visiting Japan! This company was top notch as well.

Was going to go the esim route for our Japan trip but the pricing on this was very good for our 1 month trip and it let me log in my wife’s cell phone and our 2 ipads. We combined a land trip with a 12 day cruise and this was much better than using the expensive ship wifi. It surprisingly worked pretty well on sea days when we were less than around 10km from shore and on all port days. I used a pasmo card for the local trains and shopping and when we ran down the funds it was nice to be able to add new funds immediately. It was waiting for me at our hotel and drop off at the airport was easy at a post box. Comes with a power pak you can also use with your phone. Battery life is close to a full day, we never had to use the power pak.

This was an outstanding product. The coverage was remarkable; we carried this tiny device with us every day for 14 days and I was shocked that it maintained connection to its provider in even the most inhospitable of circumstances (such as underground, high in the mountains of the country and even out in the sticks).

The three members of my family chew through data by volume and consistency and this little device powered through all day long every single day in a lightweight, highly portable package no bigger than a pack of cigarettes (two if you carried the complimentary spare battery which, by the way, could also be used to power other devices).

Finally, the product was waiting for me at my hotel when I arrived (!) and just as easily returned from my hotel (via company provided mailing kit) when I left.

This was probably among the most useful purchases I made on any vacation I’ve ever been and I wish every country I visited had such a useful, convenient and affordable service.

Network service was outstanding! Looking forward on using it again once we're back in japan!
